The 9th International Conference on Combustion, Incineration/Pyrolysis, Emission and Climate Change (9th i-CIPEC) (September 20-23 2016)

Co-organized by GSGES, the 9th International Conference on Combustion, Incineration/Pyrolysis, Emission and Climate Change (9th i-CIPEC) was held at the Kyoto Research Park (KRP) from 20 and 23 September 2016 with participants of 247 researchers, practitioners, and students in the fields of combustion, incineration, pyrolysis, emission control as well as climate change. The international conference was consisted from the pre-conference workshop on “Challenges in Mercury Waste Treatment/Disposal”, 5 plenary lectures, 96 presentations in the general session on Municipal Solid Waste Incineration, Coal and Biomass Combustion, POPs control, Pyrolysis, Sewage Sludge Combustion and Ash Treatments, as well as 61 presentations on a poster session. Through the presentation and active discussion, the latest information in this field was exchanged among participants. Finally technical tours, which consisted of 2 courses to environmental facilities in Kyoto, were held on 23rd September.
