A seminar organized by Assistant Professor Hidenori Harada, Dr. Naing, and Mandalay City Development Committee on October 9, 2019 was published in a newspaper, “The Mandalay Daily”. This seminar was a part of the research project for addressing onsite sanitation and fecal sludge management challenges in Asia, titled “Transforming the Fecal Sludge Emptying Business”. The newspaper reported about the seminar and the project itself, which has started from May 2019 with funding from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation.
