The 20th Kyoto University Global Environmental Forum, ‘Review the environmental thougts in search of an alternative way of life’, was held on October 18 at International Exchange Hall III, Clock Tower Centennial Hall. The three speakers, Associate Professor Naoki Okada (GSGES, Kyoto University), Dr. Mitsuru Tada (Chief Researcher of National Institute for Environmental Studies) and Associate Professor Tatsushi Fujihara (Institue for Research in Humanities, Kyoto University), propose alternatives to the actual system of the globe.
