The Educational Unit for Studies on CoHHO (Connectivity of Hills, Humans and Oceans) held the symposium, “The Power of Community to Develop the Connectivity of Human and Nature; Challenges by Companies Located in Lake Biwa”, in Kyoto on 14 December 2014. The symposium focused on progressive approaches to environmental conservation and regional development by companies running businesses around Lake Biwa. Over 150 people participated in the symposium.
