To everyone in Kyoto University

Windows 10, the latest OS in Microsoft will be released on July 29 (Wed), 2015 and the reservation for upgrading has commenced by “Get Windows10 application”.

We are not sure if the various service software (Groupware, Poratal etc) works all right or not at the moment.

For above reason, please refrain from upgrading to Windows 10 in educational/research PC and PC for business for a while.

After Windows 10 was released, we will investigate the support situation for Windows 10 in on-campus service immediately and let you know the result in IIMC website etc as soon as possible.

Please be careful and responsible for updating to Windows 10 taking above into consideration.
